2008-2010                        SEVEN PEAKS WATER PARK, PROVO, UTAH
                                              Aquatics Manager

1st Annual Seven Peaks Water Park Lifeguard Competition was a statewide charity event for the Red Cross Mountain Valley Chapter.  This event consisted of twelve lifeguard teams, ten members each, from around the state of Utah. It was held August 7, 2010,   at the sponsored location Seven Peaks Water Park.                                                                                                             

Event Responsibilities
·      Created event and sought approval from necessary management
·      Created event descriptions and guidelines for each event as well as event scoring
·      Primary contact between sponsors and registered teams
·      Wrote and compiled registration packets
·      Contacted local news stations and compiled stories
·      Contacted all sponsors and compiled prizes through donations
·      Ordered trophies, plaques, and medals
·      Organized and ran award ceremony
·      Ran entire event/ MC
·      Organized practice days
·      Formulated marketing and budget plans
·      Compiled and carried out contracts with vendors
·      Designed logos for posters, fliers and t-shirt order, placed order
·      Led a team of 200 volunteers during event
·      Organized set up and clean up
·      Carried out follow-up necessities including: banner returns, check requests, press releases, and PR protocol

The total amount raised for this event was $4,875


Seven Peaks Water Park Company Parties are events to boost employee moral. Every year consisted of six inner department parties and five full company parties. These parties consisted of two hundred to five hundred employees.

2009                        SUNDANCE THEATRE, PROVO, UTAH
                                 Production Stage Manager

Sundance Summer Theatre is an event designed to bring back the magic of theatre to the Sundance Ski Resort Theatre Program, while including a way for students to make transitions to the professional world.

Event Responsibilities
·      Formulated marketing and budget plans
·      Scheduled and instructed production meetings
·      Organized and ran the audition process
·      Compiled rehearsal schedule
·      Primary contact between production crew, cast, marketing director, Utah Valley University and Sundance
·      Organized and ran rehearsals
·      Ran technical rehearsals

·      Organized dinner for cast and crew before shows

2007-2009            UTAH VALLEY UNIVERSITY OREM, UTAH
                                  Theater Arts Guild President, Student Elected

Theatre Arts Guild Events is an organization where students can gather to enjoy the theatre. Its primary objective is to raise money and give students opportunities outside of the classroom to develop and grow in the professional world of theatre.

Event Responsibilities
·      Conducted weekly meetings among council members
·      Presented students in monthly meetings of upcoming events
·      Organized opening night reception for each production (six shows a year)
·      Organized inner department holiday parties
·      Raised money for traveling shows and competitions
·      Organized and ran end of season banquets



Utah Valley University Norda Theatre Fundraiser was conducted to raise funds so the school was able to expand the theatre program by building a new Black Box Theatre for students to further their education in all aspects of the program.

ACTF-AMERICAN COLLEGE THEATRE FESTIVAL is a festival where colleges from around the world meet together to compete in different categories of theatre.

·      Raised money for our program to attend the event
·      Organized a daily itinerary
·      Contacted and booked hotels
·      Designed and ordered t-shirts
·      Compiled registration packets
·      Organized practice days
·      Collected money from the students that were to compete

Over $2,000 was raised for this event


2006             MOUNTAIN VIEW HIGH SCHOOL, OREM, UTAH

MR MOUNTAIN VIEW FUNDRAISER is a male talent pageant/competition designed to raise money for the Mountain View High School Theatre Program.

·      Primary communication between all competitors (15 departments),
·      Formulated marketing and budget plans
·      Choreographed opening dance number

MOUNTAIN VIEW’S YEAR END BANQUET is designed to recognize and congratulate outstanding theatre talent among students.

·       Run entire event/ MC
·      Organized banquet agenda
·      Organize set up and clean up
·      Report at weekly committee meetings
·      Compile awards
·      Final all tally sheets
